A Brief History of
The Screamin'Shroom

After many years in the corporate sector, building, guiding & altering businesses, covid hit and I was one of the lucky ones who managed a change for the better.

Semi retirement allowed me to attack a hobby I had enjoyed for 30 years, woodwork. More specifically, wood turning! So my hobby became an obsession, my shed became a woodshop & my wife finally gained some peace & quiet!

It all seemed too good to be true & I was living my best life until my family staged an intervention. I was issued an ultimatum! The house was at capacity, every surface had been taken over by timber bowls, platters, stands & nic knacks, I had to get rid of some of the dozens (hundreds) of pieces I had already made before I made more. 

So I hatched a plan... if I sold some pieces, I could buy more wood, more machinery, more tools, more finishing supplies...........  What a grand idea.

So it happened, the birth of

"The Screamin' Shroom".
